HYPER TAPING

The first model launched under ISSEY MIYAKE FOOT, a footwear development project undertaken jointly by MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO and ASICS. “TAPING” reconstructs the iconic “ASICS Stripes” from the ASICS brand, reinterpreting its functional concept as athletic taping. It is the first model featuring ASICS’ wrestling soles, redesigned into a sneaker structure to suit everyday wear. The combination of diverse materials has resulted in footwear that is imbued with both novelty and a universal quality.

 

HYPER TAPING runs a half-whole size large. We recommend referring to EU sizing for the best fit, and sizing down if between sizes.
