These pants are from a series inspired by ceramic artist Shoji Kamoda’s work “Colored Jar.” They are characterized by the regular wave patterns that spread across the entire jar and the grainy texture created by the clay particles, with the surface appearing to sparkle when it catches the light. To recreate the jar’s characteristics in textile form, a computer jacquard loom was used to richly express the white, raised wave patterns and the reddish, colored clay texture and tones. The pants’ structure is also inspired by the white wave patterns. The pattern of this product varies from item to item. Please note this in advance.
