The "1/6" name comes from the mechanical watch's six-vibration hands, which tick six times per second. The dial has a two-layer construction that creates depth, and the hands tick on a scale that represents antique measuring instruments. The design's elaborate yet retro appearance of the long hands ticking away evokes a sense of nostalgia and warmth.
