WALL WHITE HEM

This long-sleeved long shirt is made from light chiffon material with a crepe-like feel, created by adding silk to the cotton. The pattern, resembling the rubbing of a brush on a wall, is delicately expressed using a Nassen print applied three times to form layers of shading at a dyeing factory in Kyoto. The design features a layer of solid white fabric over the patterned fabric, and the colors and depth of the pattern are beautifully highlighted by the white that peeks through from the cuffs.
