These pants are woven with striped fabric characterized by its special black color that cannot be achieved with conventional dyeing. The design features accordion pleats at the sides created using the Steam Stretch* technique that produces both beautiful lines and stretchiness when worn. This is an item from the “TYPE-I” project by A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE, which pursues the possibilities for clothing offered by this new color created through the use of Triporous™, a new material made from rice husks.
