This jacket is characterized by its grid pattern created using the Steam Stretch* technique. The lightweight stretch material is a blend of partially plant-derived polyester and cotton-polyester thread. The grid pattern is designed to conform to the shape of the body and create a three-dimensional form when worn.
*The “Steam Stretch” technique shrinks cloth by applying hot steam in order to create unique stretch materials. Special threads shrunken with heat are woven with other threads, and then only the special thread parts shrink when the steam is applied. By only shrinking the intended parts of the piece of woven cloth, three-dimensional patterns and shapes are created and the garment is completed.
